Terms of Service
- You get the number in writing well before move day — no last-minute figure sprung on you at the door
- 7 trucks, one yard, and every single mover on them draws a paycheck from us
- Up to $1M in cargo coverage travels with the load, no matter where in San Diego County it's headed
Requesting a quote, booking a move, or using this website means you’re agreeing to the terms below. They cover how A Perfect Delivery quotes, books, and carries out moves in San Diego County and beyond, so both sides know what to expect before a truck ever gets loaded.
The service. A Perfect Delivery is a licensed household goods carrier — California PUC permit (Cal-T) on file for in-state moves, US DOT and MC authority for anything crossing a state line. We provide our own trucks and our own crew for every job booked through this site; nothing gets subcontracted out to a carrier we don’t operate.
Quotes and pricing. Hourly jobs are billed at the rate quoted for the crew size booked, with a 2-hour minimum. Flat-rate jobs are priced against the inventory and access details provided when the estimate was written, and a quote can change if the actual inventory, access, or scope on move day differs materially from what was described at the time.
Payment. Payment is due on completion of the move unless other arrangements were made in writing beforehand. We accept the payment methods listed on the quote or invoice; a signed estimate is not itself proof of payment.
Liability and claims. We carry up to $1M in cargo coverage on every job we run. Damage should be noted on the paperwork at delivery and reported to our office within 48 hours; claims reported well after the fact are harder to verify and may be denied for that reason.
Cancellations and rescheduling. Move dates can be changed or cancelled by contacting the office. Moves cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, particularly during busy stretches like September’s move-out season, may carry a rescheduling fee, since that slot could otherwise have gone to another customer.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute arising from a move booked through this site is handled under California jurisdiction.
Questions. Anything unclear in these terms can be sorted out directly with the office at [email protected] or through the contact page.
